The R 1200 GS was built for versatility， and the AltRider luggagerack just might be the most flexible on the market. It featuresfive different mounting configurations， several attachment optionsfor RotopaX fuel packs， interfaces for the Givi Monokey top casesystem requires Givi top case mounting kit) and the GSessories TailGunner case， and four separate mount points for RAM ball mounts.This allows for easy mounting of an action camera in the perfectlocation without the need for additional complicated clamps.

Although available separately， the two racks in the AltRiderLuggage Rack System for the BMW R 1200 GS work best together. Thewell thought out rear luggage rack is CNC machined from 3／16 inch(4.75 mm) thick anodized aluminum， and flanged to increase strengthand create tie down points. Varied cutouts make it easy to strap，tie down， or hook bags or other items securely. The finishes aresuperb on this rack with all chamfered cutouts which results insmooth edges all around.

There is no rack system on the market that provides all theseconfigurations within the same product. Other manufacturers havesimply made multiple parts， so the rider has to decide at the timeof purchase how， what type， and how much luggage will be carried.With the AltRider solution， the rider can now configure the luggagesystem to the current need.

GIVI Monokey top cases can be fitted with the GIVI Mounting Kit --no need for the additional cost of an adapter plate. NOT COMPATIBLEWITH GIVI Trekker 52L Top Case.

This product can only be fitted to the R 1200 GS Adventure if theOEM stainless steel luggage rack is removed.
